The Japanese word for pound is "pondo." With that in mind, I couldn't help but wonder what the reasoning was behind naming this site 1 Pondo. Is this some Shakespearean analogy? Will an Asian porn parody of Shylock demand his pound of flesh in the form of boob worship instead of wrathful vengeance? Surely the sitename can't be referring to the amount of content because it's more like a ton's worth!

Unfortunately, 1Pondo doesn't refer to the amount of money you'll be spending to join the site, either. While it often irks me when currencies aren't in American dollars, I'd much rather be charged a single pound than more than double what most sites charge for a month!
